Warm things up.
Warm your teapot and cup with hot water. Empty them before adding the leaves.

A little scoop.
Add 3 g of Genmaicha leaves to your teapot. This is enough for one 150 ml cup.

Pour. Then pause.
Pour in 150 ml of water at 100°C. Let the leaves steep for 1 minute.

Every last drop.
Pour slowly in a few rounds, sharing the tea evenly between cups. Don’t forget the last drop.
