Hello there :D

I’m Lan

Nice to meet you!!!

Lan smiling beneath blooming cherry blossoms

I came to the Netherlands for a master’s, chasing a dream, and stayed for the design.

Before I designed products, I taught art to children with special needs. That’s where I learned the thing that still drives my work: clarity is a form of kindness.

I get my energy from people. I love a good conversation, and the way it lets me see the world through someone else’s eyes: what they notice, how they think, what they care about. That’s the part of me that sparks everything else, and honestly, it’s made me a better designer. Most of what I know about people, I learned by listening to them.

These days I bring all of that to fintech and B2B SaaS, dense, regulated, high-stakes products that I try to make feel a little more human.

Outside work, you’ll find me hunting for the next good café, drawing, happily defending matcha to anyone who’ll listen, and saying hi to every street cat I meet (I have two of my own).

Come say hello, I’m always up for a good chat, and yes,
I’ll gladly talk about matcha :”)

My journey

Where it started — Ho Chi Minh City: grew up here and taught art to kids with special needs, where I learned that making things clear is a form of kindness. That idea became the root of everything I design.

Where it clicked — Seoul: a short internship in tech, and the place I fell for UX strategy, the thinking behind the screens, not just the screens. I left knowing what I wanted to build, and carrying a lot of good memories.

Where I’m building now — Amsterdam: came for a master’s, and fell for the place. This is where I’m building my career: making complex, regulated products feel human, one street cat greeted at a time.
